Our History
In the late 1960’s several Christian couples came to the North Pole, Alaska, area to begin a ministry that would become Far North Missionary Fellowship. Along with North Pole Missionary Chapel, the mission group developed an outreach ministry in Fairbanks that led to the construction of Fairbanks Native Chapel on 20th Ave.
Far North Christian School began November 3, 1979, meeting in the basement of Native Chapel. It’s goal was to provide a Christ-centered and Bible-based education. In continuing this goal, a school building was built on an adjoining property and opened it’s doors in the fall of 1983.
